Minister of teritorial administration and infrastructure David Khudatyan received a delegation led by Ryan Knox, Executive Director of Salar International.

The Minister welcomed the guests and highlighted the importance of cooperation with Salar International.

During the meeting, the process of local government reforms was presented, which also led to the Ministry's interest in the "Support to Decentralization and Local Self-Government Reforms in Armenia" program.

The Minister also presented the process of decentralization of powers in Armenia.

On February 21, 2025, the SALAR International “DeaLog” program convened an advisory group meeting with the participation of partners (Office of the Deputy Prime Minister, Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of the Republic of Armenia, Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia, Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Armenia, Standing Committee on Territorial Administration, Local Self-Government, Agriculture and Environmental Protection of the National Assembly, Embassy of Sweden).

The SALAR International “DeaLog” program organized and held the annual Community Forum on February 20, the key topic of which was the decentralization of powers, in particular the decentralization agenda in the education sector.

The forum was attended by community leaders, government representatives, officials from the Swedish Embassy, ​​and officials from the Council of Europe Yerevan Office.
