Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Armenia

The Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Armenia is a republican body of executive power. The Ministry develops and implements the policy of the Government of the Republic of Armenia in the areas of fiscal and budgetary formation and expenditure of state revenues, public finance management, including the organization of the budget process, internal financial control (including internal audit), state regulation and coordination of the procurement process, financial and budgetary control, state debt management, accounting, auditing activities, gambling, as well as ensuring the implementation of work aimed at the development and implementation of a unified financial, economic, credit, financial market policy, regulation of activities in the precious metals sector, and the formation of revenues for community budgets.

The mission of the Ministry of Finance is to contribute to the development of the economy. To establish macroeconomic stability through effective management of public finances, fiscal policy, as well as coordination of the latter with monetary policy, creating the basis for ensuring inclusive economic growth and effective redistribution of GDP.

By applying international best practices in the field of finance and increasing the professionalism of the ministry's staff, and forming a culture of conscientious performance of duties, the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Armenia ensures transparency and discipline in public finance management.
