UNICEF is a leader in protecting children's rights in 190 countries around the world, including Armenia.
UNICEF supports the Government of Armenia in developing and implementing reforms aimed at removing obstacles to the realization of children’s rights in Armenia, with a special focus on the most vulnerable and vulnerable children.
UNICEF began its partnership with Armenia in 1994 with a two-year programme that addressed the urgent needs of the country at the time.
In 1995, the first partnership programme was signed between UNICEF and the Government of Armenia, focusing on health, nutrition and education.
UNICEF works in different corners of the world to reach vulnerable children and adolescents and protect every child’s right.
As the world’s largest provider of vaccines, we promote child health and good nutrition, clean water and sanitation, quality education and 21st century skills, and the protection of children and adolescents from violence and exploitation.
