Law of the Republic of Armenia on Local Self-Government

This law defines the concept of local self-government in the Republic of Armenia, its principles, bodies, mandatory tasks of the community, the powers of local self-government bodies, their legal, economic, financial bases and guarantees, the peculiarities of local self-government in communities with a council of elders elected by proportional representation, and also regulates the relations between state and local self-government bodies.
