Decentralisation in practice
Jun 10
The expert publication is dedicated to the experiences of selected European Union Member States in the process of administrative decentralisation. It has been prepared within the framework of an initiative aimed at creating conditions for a more effective implementation of public administration reform in the context of the Republic of Armenia’s European integration.
The publication presents European models and best practices in the implementation of decentralisation processes, using the examples of France, the United Kingdom, Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden.
It was developed within the project “Support to the Serbian Public Administration Reform Strategy – Second Phase,” implemented by the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government of the Republic of Serbia, in cooperation with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and financially supported by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida).
