On June 19, 2025, at the office of the Salar International “DeaLog” project, our team and international experts met with experts in the financial and economic sphere and representatives of CSOs in Armenia. Among them were former Minister of Finance and Economy Levon Barkhudaryan and former Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration Armen Khudaverdyan. An in-depth professional discussion took place on the topic of fiscal decentralisation.
At the beginning of the meeting, international experts presented a slide show of the experiences and solutions of the countries they studied, as well as touched on the situation in Armenia, in particular the Yerevan community separately and the rest of the communities as well.
The discussion was filled with interesting exchanges of ideas and objections to new ideas.
The national experts thanked Elton Staffa and Kelmend Zayazi for their work and expressed their willingness to assist them in various stages of the fiscal decentralisation study.
