To participate in the festive events dedicated to the 2214th anniversary of the founding of Artashat, we hosted delegations from the sister cities of Artashat: Klamar, Shumen and the 18th district of Budapest. The events started on October 18.

The delegation from Klamar also included the Sister Cities Committee group, headed by Vice President Natalie Kasparyan.

Ararat Governor Sedrak Tevonyan and Artashat Community Leader Karlen Mkrtchyan welcomed the delegation members during official receptions and expressed gratitude for attending the important celebration of the 2214th anniversary of the founding of Artashat.

Over the course of several days, the delegates, led by the Deputy Mayors of Clamart, Jacqueline Minasyan and Serge Keyeyan, the Mayor of Shumen, Hristo Hristov, and the Mayor of the 18th District of Budapest, Alexander Szanislo, visited the sights of Artashat and Ararat regions, a number of cultural centers, and participated in official receptions and dinners.

The delegates also participated in festive events and enjoyed warm Armenian hospitality.

Within the framework of the event, the Head of the Community, Karlen Mkrtchyan, awarded certificates and gifts to the Deputy Mayor of Clamart, Jacqueline Minasyan, the Vice President of the Sister Cities Committee, Natalie Kasparyan, the founder of the Artashat-Hungary Friendship Association, Hamlet Nazaryan, and the founder of the Bulgarian Cyrillic Cultural and Historical Complex, Karen Aleksanyan, for their significant contribution to establishing and strengthening effective cooperation with the community.

The head of the community expressed his gratitude for the boundless love they have for their homeland and Artashat and for keeping Armenian identity strong on foreign shores.

The guests left Artashat with vivid impressions.
