Ani and Novi Pazar - sister cities Ani

The delegation of the Ani Municipality, represented by the Head of the Municipality Arman Saribekyan, is on a working visit to Bulgaria from October 1-4.
The members of the delegation were hosted by the Municipality of Novi Pazar, Bulgaria. The delegation includes the Secretary of the Municipality Staff Harutyun Hambaryan, the Assistant to the Mayor Ananik Urumyan, and the Member of the Ani Council of Elders Hasmik Zatikyan. They were welcomed with toasts and great enthusiasm.
“Today, our two municipalities united by signing the Agreement on “International Cooperation in the Spheres of Culture, Education, Sports, Tourism and Economy,” said the Mayor of Novi Pazar Georgi Georgiev.
The Mayor of Ani Municipality Arman Saribekyan expressed gratitude for the warm welcome, and at the same time highly appreciated the bilateral cooperation in the above-mentioned areas.
Arman Saribekyan also expressed hope that the cooperation between the two cities will be continuous and expanding.
It was noted by both parties that a long, productive and successful friendship is starting between the communities of the two countries, which will positively contribute to the mutually beneficial development of the communities of Novi Pazar and Ani.
At the end, the heads of the communities exchanged souvenirs.
