Armen Harutyunyan, Executive Director of the Union of Communities of Armenia, held an online meeting with PR officers and communication and information specialists representing various communities across Armenia. The purpose of the meeting was to strengthen cooperation between the communities and the Union, establish more systematic communication, and encourage more active coverage of community news and initiatives.

During the meeting, new formats of cooperation were discussed, through which communities will have the opportunity to present their programs, initiatives, achievements, and important events of community life more regularly. Armen Harutyunyan emphasized the importance of timely and effective dissemination of information, noting that the activity and visibility of each community are essential both for local development and for the exchange of intercommunity experience.

The Executive Director of the Union stated that the Union of Communities of Armenia is ready to support communities in communication, information dissemination, and other professional matters by ensuring continuous contact and a collaborative environment. He called on community representatives to be more active, maintain close ties with the Union, and continuously engage in joint programs and initiatives.

During the meeting, the Union’s new programs, upcoming initiatives, as well as the new public relations specialist and the renewed team were also presented. From now on, they will cooperate with communities in a more coordinated and systematic manner.

It was emphasized that such meetings will be ongoing and regular in nature, contributing to deeper cooperation among communities and improving the effectiveness of information and communication activities. Visits to different communities are also planned in order to become more closely acquainted on-site with local issues, initiatives, and development programs.
